The Texture
Three wefts of Adé, in the lengths a 4C install actually uses.
Adé carries high fullness per weft, so two already make a full head. Three is what you take when you want length as well as density, or when you want the install to stay thick all the way to the ends.
At 2mm the shrinkage is real. Worn in its coil, Adé sits about 4 to 5 inches shorter than measured, so choose a length above the one you have in mind.
Matched or layered. Matched sets give uniform density, which suits a coil that hides graduation anyway. The layered sets repeat the longest length, which keeps weight at the bottom when the coil pulls everything upward.

Every weft in a bundle is cut from the same steam set batch, so coil size and direction stay consistent from the nape to the crown. Add a matching HD closure or frontal to finish the crown.
