Wúrà means gold. The name landed on this texture because it's the boldest, most statement-making curl in the middle of the range: gold on the curl that draws the most attention.

Best for

3C–4A hair that curls in a defined, full spiral rather than a tight coil: the texture people usually mean when they search "kinky curly bundles" without a specific curl-type number in mind. It's a strong match if your hair pattern is looser than 4B/4C but tighter and denser than a classic 3A/3B ringlet.

Compare to its neighbors

Looser: Ìlẹ̀kẹ̀ — Loose Kinky Curly (6mm, s-pattern, 3B–3C). Tighter: Ọ̀yàyà — Tight Kinky Curly (3mm, s-pattern, 4A). Wúrà sits right between them. If Ìlẹ̀kẹ̀ looks slightly too loose and Ọ̀yàyà slightly too tight against your own hair, Wúrà is usually the answer.

Length, shrinkage, and set count

Measured straight, Wúrà sits about 2–3 inches shorter worn in pattern. Most installs run 2–3 sets at shoulder length, 3 for longer looks. The mid-range coil needs a bit more volume per length than the tighter textures but less than the loosest ones. Pair with our HD closure or HD frontal at the same count.

Care

Wúrà holds definition well with a standard wash-and-go routine: satin protection at night, moisture between washes, and a gentle re-fluff rather than full re-detangling.
