Who Burmese Curly Is For

Burmese Curly suits women with 3B–3C natural hair who want defined, springy ringlets that behave the way their own curls do, responsive to moisture, resistant to frizz in the right conditions, and full rather than flat. It's also a strong choice for women with looser 4A hair who want to enhance their curl definition with extensions that match without requiring significant stretching. If you love your curl pattern but want more length and volume, Burmese Curly is the texture designed to give you exactly that without compromising the natural look of your hair. It's one of the most versatile textures in the Adéorí range for curly-haired women.

How Burmese Curly Behaves

Burmese Curly produces lush, spiral ringlets in the 3B–3C range when properly hydrated. The curl is defined and consistent from root to tip. In dry conditions, the curl may loosen slightly; in humid or wet conditions, it tightens and defines. Shrinkage is moderate, roughly 25–40% from measured length when fully dry. The hair has medium porosity, absorbs water and product well, and responds beautifully to curl-defining creams and diffusing. It can be heat-styled but responds better to wet-setting methods (flexi rods, curlformers, twist-outs) that preserve the original curl pattern without risk of heat damage.

How to Care for Burmese Curly Extensions

Wash every 7–10 days with sulfate-free shampoo. Use a rich, slip-forward conditioner and detangle with fingers while the hair is saturated, never dry. Apply a curl-defining cream or leave-in conditioner while the hair is still wet to encourage the ringlets to reform. Air dry or diffuse on low heat, scrunching upward as the hair dries. Avoid touching the hair while it's drying to prevent frizz. Refresh between washes with a water and leave-in spray. Deep condition monthly. Store loosely braided in a silk bag to protect the curl structure.

How Many Bundles to Order

Burmese Curly has 25–40% shrinkage when dry. A 20" bundle installs closer to 12–15" in its natural coiled state, so order one length up from your target. At 16"–18": 2–3 bundles. At 20"–22": 3 bundles. At 24"+: 3 bundles. Adding an HD Lace Closure or HD Lace Frontal reduces the bundle count by one. Burmese Curly bridges the 3C–4A range, so it works as a blend with Deep Wave for women whose natural texture sits between the two. Single-donor sourcing means mixing lengths in one install is safe. All Adéorí bundles are 100 grams each and sold individually.
